Garden Therapy

The garden is the place to go when you need a little boost.
There's just no way to feel blue when you see the beauty out there.
When you hear the whir of hummingbird wings, you have to smile.
As the fragrance of licorice hits you, you can't help but relax.
Touch the soft, soft petals of the rose, and your heartbeat slows down.
Before you know it, you find your spirit soothed.
It's therapy for the soul.

  1. Very beautiful flowers and etc..

  2. Pretty great photo of the humming bird. I like photographing butterflies, too, but we have had few butterflies this summer. Too hot, perhaps. Your flowers are beautiful for so late in the summer. Hope your knee has healed.

  3. This was a nice way to start the day. That blue delphinium....my favorite.

  4. thanks for visiting gf... i just posted my painted lady photos, and i come to robin's nest and see you have beat me to the punch! great going on the hummingbird photo... i haven't caught one yet... i so agree with you on how wonderful the garden makes me feel... hubs brought my daughter back to denison this weekend... we all need more rain, but more there than here...

  5. Thank you for the therapy session, Robin. The hummingbirds have been crazy-acting this summer and very busy at the feeder. I much prefer seeing them on flowers, but the feeder on my window is a close second.

As always, your photos are awesome!

  6. I always love your flower photos...and the ones of the butterflies and hummingbirds, too!
