It's time for the garden to sleep. Flowers have faded away, and the colors are dulled.
But I know where the flowers never fade.
I can go there any time and find them waiting for me.
All the beauty of the seasons past are still there.
Colors bright and colors fair smile up at me.
Here is where my garden still shines.
All it takes is a moment, and I can be in the garden once more.
That's why you should photograph your garden.
Because then your flowers are frozen in time for those dark and dreary days of winter.
Just when you think you can't take another gray day, you open up your photo files, and the colors save your spirit just in time.
So come with me to the where the flowers never fade. It's even better than the memories.
So, to summarize, "Take a picture, it lasts longer"? So true!
ReplyDeleteYour garden was so beautiful this spring and summer Robin. Like you I am thankful for those pictures of past blooms to give a lift on these winter months before us. "THis too shall pass". LOL! Have a lovely weekend.
ReplyDeleteHello Robin girl !
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting me know about that euphorbia : ) I think i will give it a try next year .. I love how you did this post! .. our flowers and gardens are with us ALL the time on our computers .. they keep us company during the winter and I love that .. you just gave me a good nudge to remember where they shine : )

Hooray for photos! At first I thought you had a fabulous conservatory! You have some wonderful images of your garden. I love looking back at my old photos, though I have so many on my computer I need to get rid of a lot of them. A project for a rainy day!
